Sid Chow B. ARTS (Math), B. ARCH., MAIBC

Sid Chow, a native of Vancouver Island, has been a registered architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia for over 32 years. He was founding principal of Chow + Fleischauer Architects, and led the firm for more than 27 years. He has developed strong, on-going relationships with a wide range of corporate, educational and private sector clients including Vancouver Island University, University of Victoria, and an extensive list of specialized Developers. He has successfully designed, managed and built a wide range of educational, institutional, commercial and residential projects in both the public and private sectors. As a talented “generalist” architect, Sid brings a broad range of skills and knowledge to each new project. He is as comfortable leading large, conceptual design collaborations and designing complex institutional projects as he is developing refined details and elegant spaces for personal custom homes.
Jackson Low B.E.S., M. ARCH., MAIBC, MRAIC

Jackson Low joined Chow + Fleischauer in 1987. Throughout his years of design, he has developed an outstanding ability to connect with clients and interpret their vision through technically excellent, carefully coordinated projects. Working with a diverse range of institutional, educational, health care and government clients, he has cultivated a specialty for managing complex renovation projects that involve multiple tenants and user groups that require creative, sustainable solutions. Jackson also has a deep understanding of the requirements, challenges and demands of health sector architecture, from complex care facilities to private retirement residences. Jackson establishes positive, collaborative working relationships with his clients, allowing him to develop creative solutions that achieve exceptional finished results. He is a registered architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
Paul Hammond B. Tech. Arch., M. ARCH., MAIBC, MRAIC

Paul Hammond's focus has always been on quality, sustainability and innovation. He pursues coherent design solutions that respond to clients' vision and contextual conditions with a sensitivity to spatial experience, materials and clarity of purpose. Paul honed his skills with several architectural firms in Toronto, including the award-winning Teeple Architects, joined Chow Fleischauer Low in 2005 and became partner in 2006. Paul has extensive experience with complex institutional, recreational and residential projects. He has a proven ability to effectively manage projects involving multidisciplinary teams and multiple-stakeholders, for both the public and private sectors clients; including the Vancouver Island Regional Library, University of Victoria, Camosun College, Vancouver Island University, Capital Region Housing Association, Pacifica Housing Association, Town of Ladysmith, the Department of National Defense and Public Works and Government Services Canada.
